Why we use "ain't" and not "aren't"? I don't understand if this 2 words means the same thing in a sentence or not... Can you help me please.

They can mean the same, but stay away from using "ain't." It has a bad reputation. If you use "ain't," many teachers will say you are using bad grammar. And many people will think you are low-educated or even stupid. But some examples: "You're studying English, aren't you?" "You're studying English, ain't you?" "I'm helping you, aren't I?" "I'm helping you, a'int I?" "A'int" is considered by many teachers to be nonstandard and by many people to be a sign of low education or even low intelligence. So, I suggest you do not use "ain't" until you have an advanced command of English.

Hi ClaraM. How are you? As indicated, Aren't is regarded as proper grammar, and "ain't is regarded as a slang. However, Americans use "ain't" freely because they frequently do not permit social convention or the Rules of Grammar to dictate how they speak. For example, ain't appears in many popular songs, because singers like a "common" touch. Carol King uses it in her song, "You've Got A Friend". She has a line that goes like this: "Ain't it good to know you've got a friend?" Using ain't can convey a sincerity, wherein one abandons all formality. You can, in good conscience, use "ain't" in your speech, when you are with friends. However, in any kind of formal writing such as school or business, you should never employ "ain't". .

Ain't is what we call "slang" It is never used except in jest, and then it's only used to highlight how uneducated you are. :) I'm from Australia so I represent British English, it's a word you never need to learn

In response to Mike’s answer, people say it out of habit, not out of a lack of education (although the word is more common amongst those who have a lower interest in education). It’s important to note that it is used mostly between friends. I don't think there's anything necessarily wrong with the word, it's just not professional or formal and should be avoided around people whom you are not close to.
