Could you tell me the differences between "girlish" and "girly" ?
Could you also tell me why there is a word "boyish" but there seems to be no word "boyly"? Right?

Girlish is characteristics of girls. Means being immature.
Girly means very feminine.

Girlish: behaving like a girl, looking like a girl, or suitable for a girl
Girly (adj) = girlie :
1. british english: a girl or woman who is girlie behaves in a silly way, for example by pretending to be shy or always thinking about how she looks
2. British English spoken: suitable only for girls rather than men or boys
Girlie (noun) : an offensive word used by men when talking to a woman who they think is less sensible or intelligent than a man
