المطر: هو كل ما يسقط من السماء من ماء
والغَيْث : وهو المطر الذي يأتي عند الحاجة إليه
والوَدْق : وهو المطر المستمر

المطر = الماء النازل من السحاب
الغيث = مطر غزير يجلب الخير
الودق = المطر شديده وضعيفه
