Is it correct with or without the particle "の"?

I think 「木曜日ごごびょういんは休みです。」 sounds bit strange ...
I recommend 「木曜日のごごびょういんは休みです。」, or if you want to make your sentence bit shorter, then 「木曜のごごびょういんは休みです。」
