Could sb tell me a bit about the word "interlope"? Does it have any subtle difference from "meddle"or"intrude"? And maybe some sentence examples . I just want to get some intuition on this word which dictionaries can't do. Thank you in advance. By the way is it right to say gain some intuition on it? Thanks again.

For your second question, I would probably say 'insight' instead of intuition. Or you could say "I would like to get a more intuitive response". For interlope, the first thing I would say is that it's not used very much at all. Many native speakers would not know what it means, whereas meddle and intrude are easily understood by everyone. With the meaning, I would say it isn't really used as a synonym for 'meddle' in the sense of messing up someone's things. It really just refers to being an unwelcome guest. Also I would say it is rarely used as a verb, more likely it would be a noun, eg 'the interlopers'. Examples: He was an athiest who felt like an interloper in this religious gathering. Summer residents were regarded as interlopers who had no deep commitment to the town's welfare. And if we choose to make peace among our people there is none other to interfere, no interlopers from outside. An interloper crashes parties and laughs at "No Trespassing" signs. The new chain superstore built at the edge of town and was an interloper among the various mom and pop grocery stores in the area.
