职责 vs 责任 = responsibility？
1) As I understand both these words mean "responsibility", but what is the difference?

2) Also, what is the difference between 担责任 and 负责任. They both mean "bear/assume responsibility"?

3) Can you similarly use 担 and 负 with 职责? If not, than is there any other verb you can use with 职责, when you want to say "take on responsibility" or "bear responsibility"?

PS: you can answer in Russian or English - I understand them both. If you are not good with these two languages and don't know how to answer using them, please, answer at least in Chinese - I will try to understand you, but it will be hard=)

责任 = duty; 职责 = obligation... разница ситуационная... пример: "защищать родину" это для обычного человека долг, а для офицера (служебная) обязанность...

职责 is one types of 责任. The first character "职" is actually means "job/career". You use 职责 when you want to emphasis that kind of responsibility is related with "career". Anyway, to make it simple, you can just use 责任 . The usage of 担 and 负 had been answer in anther thread. Similar,  when using 担 and 负, it's OK to attached them 责任, but not 职责 usually. For example, 我为他担责任. It's easy and clear. Of course, you can use 职责 when you want to explicitly emphasis the responsibility is job-related and you have to take the responsibility as your colleague failed to to so.... "我为他担他的职责". But usually we use the simple way.....

Actually 责任 has two meanings:
1) duty to be in charge of sth
2) blame for sth bad that has happened
However, 职责 has only one meaning, i.e. the 1st of the above definitions.

The English term "responsibility" also has those two meanings.

e.g.
这个事故是他的责任. You can't say 这个事故是他的职责
他的职责/责任是检查产品质量.

3 No one says "担职责" or "负职责", because the 责任 after "担" means the 2ND of the above two definitions, but not the 1st. The verbs that can be used with 职责 include "承担". 承担(自己的)职责 means to take responsibility for (doing) sth.

1. 职责 is a kind of 责任， 职 means a job or work, so 职责 means your responsibility in your work. i think 责任 =responsibility.
