Could you give me nice examples which used for the same meaning as each "temperamental/good nature"? Hi, I have some questions. I really want to warn people who try to touch or reach toward my dogs something like... "Please be careful, he is very temperamental but this one is good nature about him." (I'd prefer being polite) Could you give me nice examples which used for the same meaning as each "temperamental /good nature", please? I would greatly appreciate your help with my sentences..

Actually, in this situation, I would use the exact sentence that you have. You could use "excitable," if you want to indicate that the dog might jump on a person. You could use "disagreeable," if you want to let a person know that the dog might not appreciate being petted. "Aggressive" could work. For a person, you could use the word "moody." This won't be used with a dog most likely, though. **** For good-natured: Calm Even-tempered Friendly Mild

Educated people say temperamental all the time. You can use it to speak about people, animals, or things that you can't get to work. If I am trying to get a screw in a hole, but it keeps slipping, I might say, "This screw is being pretty temperamental." It's very common, actually.

Nobody actually says "temperamental" in speech. It's mainly for writing only.
