Each day the man would come to the goose's nest to take her golden egg. He would ride into the city and sell the egg for a high price" why is it used "would come" and "would ride". What does the word "would" mean? In what Tence are the sentences written? Can we use simply Past Simple?

Yes, we can use the past simple. Here, "would" is a synonym of "used to," which emphasizes that the verb in the past was repeated or habitual ("frequentative aspect"), and is no longer the case in the present. Note that "used to" can be used with all verbs (stative as well as action), but "would" is only used in this sense with verbs of action -- if "would" were used with a verb of state, it would be taken as the conditional.

В данном случае вы столкнулись с литературным английским, и вы правы, что по смыслу можно просто заменить на обычное простое время. Would - это модальный глагол, он используется во многих случаях. В басне повествование идет в прошедшем времени и данная конструкция является литературной формой привязанной к прошлому, отдельно Would здесь никак не переводиться, он работает в связке с глаголом "would come"- приходил, вы могли бы избежать эту конструкцию, используя глагол во второй форме, то есть обычное прошедшее время.
