Hi, Taki. It's just about Islamic traditions.
Kandil : The day preceding a "Kandil gecesi" and Kandil gecesi: One of the five Islamic holy nights when the minarets are illuminated. [ Mevlit, Regaip, Miraç, Berat, Kadir. ]
If the day was Kandil, we celebrate our Kandils. So "kandiliniz mübarek olsun" means "happy kandils"..
or something like that =)
Sorry for i couldnt explain it properly.. =)

Hi Taki,
It is a kind of best wishes for one of holly night in Islamic belief as sinem explained.Kandil means candle.
Each holly night is believed that something good happened in the Islam.Forexample,Mevlit (Mevlud) means
birhtday of Mohammed,Mirac is, like the word MIRACLE in English but in Arabic it means another thing. In mirac Mohammed is belived that he raised to the heaven and talked to The God and got some new verse of the Koran which is holly book of the Muslims.During the candle nights,in all Islam countries, the candles of the mosques are to shine and all Muslims pray o the God to be one of the forgiven one.By the way,I remember one of a good song of Elton John,Candles in the Wind. :))
With my Best Wishes
