Which is simple/easier to learn: Egyptian Arabic or Modern Standard Arabic?
I know that Egyptian and MSA both have their own benefits and disadvantages, but which is easier to learn? Which one is more straightforward? Which has easier grammar in your opinion? Thank you :)

Standard Arabic is more difficult because of its grammatical rules. Egyptian Arabic has easier grammar. However, there are more resources for learning Standard Arabic. I think you should learn the one which will be useful for you, regardless the level of difficulty. Ask yourself 'why I want to learn Arabic?' and you'll know which one to learn.
This is just my opinion.

it is more more more better to start with modern standard Arabic
because if you start with modern standard arabic it will easy for you after that to learn any dialect language
there is no thing difficult any language need to make effort to learn it and also it is depend on you and the teacher who teach it by easy way
this is my advice as a professional Arabic teacher I teach both modern standard Arabic, and Egyptian Colloquial Arabic
GOOD LUCK

Lear Modern Standard Arabic first.

Hi Shamir,
I would definitely start with Modern Standard Arabic (MSA), and then choose one of the many dialects which you feel would be most useful to you. Without MSA, you will not be able to understand the news, or read newspapers or books; so you won't be able to engage with the Arab media at any meaningful level. Even though MSA is not spoken in the streets, all educated Arabs (i.e., those who studied MSA at school and, perhaps, later at college or university) will be able to understand you.
