You might be able to answer this if you watched Love Actually and you are British, probably.
Hello. I've got something to ask you.
I watched Love Actually, 2003 film.
In the movie, the prime minister feels very confused since he has fallen in love with Natalie, his one of secretaries.
One day, he looks at a portrait where an old woman wearing earrings, a pearl necklace and a dark purple top is.
And he says "Did you have this kind of problem? Yeah, course you did, you saucy minx."
I know what saucy minx means. I googled it.
I just got curious to know who she is and why he says such a thing.
So I searched internet for this and I've just learnt that this woman is Margaret Thatcher and the former Prime Minister of the United Kingdom in from 1979 to 1990.
Now, all I want to know about is the reason he said such a thing against Margaret Thatcher.
Because it makes me think it's likely that she had actually fallen in love with her male secretary during her term and it became know all over the UK? Do you have any idea about this?
