Weshalb, Worum und Wie
For me, the usage of these three words sometimes is confusing. For an example, can I use "warum" or "wie" in the place of "weshalb" in the sentence below? If so, does the meaning of the sentence change?

"Weshalb möchten Sie denn Ihren Arbeitsplatz wechseln?"

For me, the usage of these three words sometimes is confusing.  For an example, can I use "warum" or "wie" in the place of "weshalb" in the sentence below? If so, does the meaning of the sentence change?

"Weshalb möchten Sie denn Ihren Arbeitsplatz wechseln?"

Answer

Warum and weshalb and also wieso can be interchanged without a change of meaning. And this is allways this way. But if you would use wie, the meaning would change from why to how.
