Liom féin at the beginning of sentences for emphasis with verbs in the past beginning with a vowel. In the past test, does the d' drop off of the verb? That is, should I write "Liom féin a eagraigh mé an turas." to mean "I organized the trip BY MYSELF."? Or does the d' remain?

The d' remains: Liom féin a d'eagraigh mé an turas. This is basically a direct relative, cf. An fear a d'eagraigh an turas. In the indirect relative the d' drops off and "a" is replaced by "ar": An fear ar eagraigh mé an turas leis.
