Reading 'Life of Pi' made me think again about the rights and wrongs of keeping animals in captivity. There's a very convincing argument in this book explaining how animals need a safe and predictable environment. Freedom isn't necessarily the best option for animals.

The Handmaid's Tale (by Margaret Atwood) provides us imagination and examination about division of labor. After reading the book, I realized it is definitely necessary to respect each human being even each kind of life. It will develop into ruin if it becomes the rule of our world to follow few people's will.
