i wanna ask someone if he bought some food or not i can say did you buy food?if i don't know whether
he bought or not but if iam sure that he has bought i can say have you bought food. are my sentences correct please can anyone good at english or instructor explain to me? thanks in advance

Yes, you can ask:
Did you buy food?
With noncount nouns such as food, we often use 'any', so you can also sak:
Did you buy any food?
This second one sounds more natural, in general.

Hello! Great question!! So in either instance, whether you know if the person bought the food or not, you can ask them, "Did you buy food?". If you knew that the person bought food, you wouldn't ask them if they bought food, you would ask "What did you buy?" as saying what kind of food or which food did you buy.
