I am trying to add more information after ",". Can I have [a/the] number 3, [the] meal, [the] medium size, [with] [an] orange juice? Thank you

At a fast food restaurant, it is fine to say, "Can I have a number 3," or "Can I have the number 3." Using "a" or "the" in these situations are totally fine. Usually they'll ask if you want the meal. Yes you can say "the meal," If you want. Yes, from everything else you said, It's okay to say. :)

The extra "a/the" are not necessary at all! Don't complicate a simple request. It actually breaks up the sentence, and I'm sure the cashier will ask you to repeat what you said. This is all you need to say: "Can I have the number 3 meal, medium size, with an orange juice, please?"
