Since this sentence is long and complicated, I'll separate it in 3 parts. 1. I want to listen what you should /want to say 2. 4. Saying one's name instead of あなた would sound more natural. You can also say ... を for object. 1. because I'm happy (to hear that) 2. 4. When we know whom you are talking about, we often omit the subject and other things like "my, me, your, you, his, him, her, etc. 1. (and also because) to be able to know whether you are fine or not. 2. 4. In the more serious cases, like accident, I would say: 無事かどうか instead of 元気かどうか. All together, I would say: (name)さんが言うべきこと / 言いたいことを聞きたいです。 1. I enjoy listening to what you should say. 2. 4. If we know more details like this case, the translation should be changed in Japanese. I hope this was helpful and thank you for being patient with my English.

"I want to listen what you have/want to say because that brings joy to be able to know whether you are fine or not" No worries about the type :) Does this help with being able to translate?

Typo: grings --> brings

So, it's like "I want to listen what you have/want to say honestly because that grings joy to me", isn't it? Besides does it include "I want to know wether you are fine or not"? (It's hard to understand for my English.)
