How to say "risk has direct link with returns" in a natural way?

I think we would typically put the thing being affected in front in a sentence like this. "Returns have a direct link to [the amount of risk taken] (or) [the risks taken]" either way would be fine. If, however, you prefer to emphasize the risk instead of the returns, your phrasing is pretty close. "Risks have a direct link with returns," sounds perfectly natural.
