In Spanish we use verb "tener" (to have) to express the age, hence the question in these cases is: ¿Cuántos años tienes? (lit. 'how many years do you have?') I add to the Miguel's answer: In many southamerican countries like Argentina or Uruguay the sentence "¿Que edad tienes?" is correct, but formal. We usually say "¿Cuántos años tienes/tenés?". (lit. 'How many years do you have?'). Saludos desde Buenos Aires.
