See you tonight! I will be talking to a friend tonight, if I want to sあy "See you tonight" would it make sense to directly translate to Japanese? or would it be better to say "Goodbye - talk tonight" こんばん見る。 OR こんばん話す、 またね。 or would there be a better combination?

I would say: See you tonight! = こんばん、あおうね。(casual form) / こんばん、あいましょう。(formal form) Goodbye, talk tonight! = よる、はなそうね。バイバイ!(casual form) / よる、はなしましょう。では、また。formal form) I hope this was helpful.
