Kolega to ktoś, kogo znamy np. ze szkoły czy z pracy, kumpel to potocznie ktoś, kogo bardzo lubimy, a przyjaciel to człowiek, którego znamy bardzo dobrze, możemy na nim polegać. kolega = colleague kumpel = buddy/pal przyjaciel = best friend

Kolega - товариш (колега по роботі) , przyjaciel -друг, kumpel -дуже добрий друг (слово частково сленгове )

"Kolega" is someone we know and hang out with, for example because you go to class with this person. "Kumpel" is someone you like and get on with well, and "przyjaciel" is someone you can trust implicitly, with all your secrets and everything. Someone that knows everything about you, and you love to spend time with each other ;)
