Ha ha ...! 鸡同鸭讲 is the title of a Hong Kong movie by Michael Hui, the well-known comedian and brother of Sam Hui, the famous pop singer. In Cantonese it's "Kai Toong Ngap Gong" ... which literally means "Chicken Talking With Duck" or what is better known as "Chicken and Duck Talk" in English ... It basically means 2 people talking at different wavelengths (or in different languages) and not understanding each other at all, in the process possibly giving rise to animosity and misunderstanding...

I'm not sure about the meaning either...although I guess domasla might be right. Does it mean 'Chicken talk is like duck talk'? Sounds good to me, although in english I never heard it. Let's create (/establish /propagate /spread) it as a new proverb (/idiom)! I like it! Does it mean 'What person A said is worth as much as what person B said'? Mostly that would mean both is not important at all.
