What the difference between ملك and عند
And why عند we conjugate like this:
I have انا عندي ana aindi
You have انت عندك anta aindaka : masculine singular
You have انت عندك anti aindaki : feminine singular
He has هو عنده howwa aindahu : masculine singular
She has هي عندها hiya aindaha : feminine singular
We have نحن عندنا nahnu aindana
You have أنتم عندكم antum aindakunm : masculine plural
You have أنتن عندكن antunna aindakunna : feminine plural
They have هم عندهم hum aindahum: masculine plural
They have هن عندهن hunna aindahunna : feminine plural

ملك
It's a derivative of "ملكية" which means ownership. ¨
You owe it.
عند
Means ¨Have¨, not necessary to owe that ¨thing¨, but still having it.
You may owe it.

عنده بيت He has a house
يملك بيت He owns a house
That is basically the difference between both, but the 2 sentences refer to the same in this case .
Idiomatically you can not exchange them sometimes as in :
عنده حق He is right
You can not interchange it with يملك حق
