Very old fashion Chinese, and will tell others: You are really good at Chinese, and you really respect that person. Usually we say: 敬请斧正, meaning: Please correct my book/article (with all my respects). Literally it means: use an ax to correct it! (because there may be too many things to correct...Just a way to show your modesty) However, this is only known by Chinese who read quite a lot (like me :))

对于发音，我们用“纠正”，对于文字（文章）我们用“改正”、“修改”、“批改”、“斧正”，一般是不用“纠正”的，当然可以说“纠正错别字”。
