“右拐”偏口语化，“右转”偏书面化，二者没有太大区别，生活中一般不做区分。

I think they are almost interchangeable. But in Guangdong, which is a province with the native languages of non-mandrin in the south of China, I seldom hear the word 左拐. In Cantonese and Hakka, which are my daily languages, I use 转左 more often than 左转, 左转 more often than 左拐.

In most situations they are interchangeable. However, if I'm speaking in a very formal setting, I'd definitely choose 右转 just to sound more formal.
