What is the meaning of "いくよ" in the following sentence?
いくよ、「子どものみなさん、バオバブに気をつけること！」これは、ぼくの友だちのためでもある。

It needs more contexts to explain the sentence.
Originally, "行くよ（いくよ）" stands for "Let's go".
But this phase is versatile as "Let's do (something)" or "I'll do (something)".
I think in this sentence it is used as a sign of saying something important.
