If you can, put yourself into a situation where you *have to* speak English. For example, when I visited Japan for a holiday, if I looked lost or didn't seem to know where to go, Japanese people would approach me and offer their help. They would give me directions / tell me where to go, etc. They spoke English with me, and so I had some small conversations with them. The whole conversation was in English. It was a great relief for me, and great speaking practice for them!
