what is the difference between to reach and to arrive? hi everybody could you please answer my question what is the difference between to reach and to arrive?

To reach means to get to some place; it's not followed by a preposition.ex, I reached the company on time. To arrive has the same meaning but it's followed by the preposition at or in.
