Without context it's impossible to say, but I highly doubt it. "Class" probably refers to "lesson," and laid-back is an idiomatic expression:. http://www.thefreedictionary.com/laid-back

For me anyway, "laid-back classes" simply means that they aren't excessively formal. That is to say, they are more informal. It doesn't have anything to do with being for the elite class. Expanding upon this, laid-back classes are possibly an incentive for students who might feel stressed out when going to normal structure classes, to go and take those classes that are more relaxed.
