What "s the meaning of "make it case"?
In a passage, there is a sentence that I can't understand.
"Now at this point it's appropriate for the UK side to begin to make its case."
maybe you can tell me what does it mean and how to use "make its case"

It's an idiom. To "make a case" means to make an argument for something - like a legal case. "To show what you mean is true" or "to give good reasons why something should be done."
I make a case that you should give me lots of cake.
He makes a case for higher budget in schools.
In this case (lol), it means that right now, the UK side can begin their legal arguments.
