American English everyday phrases Hello! I wanted to find out if there is a good study material (either in book form, PDF format, or maybe on a web site) where I can learn very very common phrases in everyday conversations (not too formal business setting nor too slangy phrases ^^;). I found myself always responding with the same expressions, like when someone is talking to me, I just say "ok,... ok... hmm, yeah... ok.. wow... yeah... good... ok..." But instead, sometimes I want to insert different expressions such as "that's true, sounds good, yeah I can imagine, sure thing," you get the idea, right? ^^; But many of my study materials just have a list of these expressions and they don't give me the context and whole conversation in which those expressions are used. Any recommendations? ^^
