I just started to learn romanian, and I'd like to know:

1) in Romania american movies are dubbed in romanian or do they have subtitles? is it the same for series like Friends, Small Wonder, Three's a company? do you have many of these dubbed or with subtitles?

2) can you tell me a website where I can find a list of the romanian names of the american series?

3) do you know a website where I can find foreign classic short stories (for instance Edgar Allan Poe) translated in romanian?

1. All American movies and TV series are subtitled in Romania.

2. Go to wikipedia, the Romanian page of that movie or TV series and see how it has been translated into Romanian.

If u go to the cinema, there are a lot of movies that are dubbed in romanian, but, from as much as i know, most of them are animations; because these are usually for children. E.g: if some kids are going to the cinema with their parents, maybe they dont know how to read yet, so the movie is dubbed.
