what is the meaning or translation of "jia1 you3" into English from Mandarin.
I actually heard this phrase in a cartoon show. Some of you may know it called "NiHao Kailan", and the character seems to be excited saying, like in celebratory manner. I think I may have the tones wrong. I don't think it is 家有.

u may mean 加油,right?i think there isnt an exactly english word means 加油,when u watch a match,u can say "go !go!"or "come on" to ur favorite team, jiā 加 yóu 油

you mean translate it from mandarin?
I know jia1 you2 can translate "cheer ", but jia1 you3? I don't know it clearly,maybe it would be "家有"?

good question, I had asked this very same question before. I didn't get exact answer for it, you can translate it to "come on" or "cheer up" or "go! go! go!" or "keep going!" ..........so many

The same as ‘come on’,we encouraged people in some matches.
