Help(please) Hi, there Could you help me with a few questions? 1) Do I have to repeat the verb in these sentences "The divorce will hurt you more than IT WILL me" or "The divorce will hurt you more than IT WIlL HURT you" "Why can I go out in this shirt, but I CAN'T in that one" or "Why can i go out in this shirt, but I CAN'T GO OUT in that one 2)Do I need the second "it" in this sentence? "It happens in all war zones but nowhere on the scale as is IT happening in Sudan."?? As is happening in Sudan" or "As IT is happening in Sudan"? Please, I really need your help

I have copied and pasted your text, so the capital letters 'carry over'. "The divorce will hurt you more than IT WILL me". Correct. "Why can I go out in this shirt, but I CAN'T in that one" or "Why can I go out in this shirt, but I CAN'T GO OUT in that one". Both are correct. "It happens in all war zones but nowhere on the scale as IT is happening in Sudan".

I think it's a matter of style. In all cases, the omission is ok, as the reference is clear.
