“The space of which image taking could be part would constitute...” is correct. In formal contexts, this is the form used. “The space which image taking could be part of would constitute...” is informal; this way is used in spoken English. In formal contexts, this is ungrammatical. I hope that helps.

"The club of which I am a member" sounds more elegant than "The club that I'm a member of" The English grammar frowns on prepositions at the end of sentences, though there are cases where it can't be helped. So it's essentially a question of register and formality.
