Lord of the Flies is a good choice. If you need something that is a classic but more accessible for beginners, Where the Red Fern Grows is a great option as well. Fahrenheit 451 is good if you like dystopian literature. My personal favorites include Frankenstein, To Kill a Mockingbird, and The Bean Trees.
