Hi, Alan! I think there's a lot of resources for you to do so. My answer is going to be a bit generic, because I'm sure you have heard all of this before. First of all, remember that it depends on how you learn and what you need. - Learn more vocabulary: Apps) I personally use Memrise. I have tried Duolingo but I don't like it very much, and it doesn't go far enough for you. "fluent" in Duolingo is somewhere between B1 and B2 and that is still arguable. Memrise has user courses that are super useful, and made for specific target levels. On the go) whether is reading or watching shows, you'll pick up new words, but passive learning is less reliable than paying attention and writing down stuff. - Make your learning fun: Maybe it's time for you to try watching movies with English subtitles instead of using your native language for them, if you haven't do so yet. It'll let you pick up vocabulary, and it'll force you to process what's happening without translation. I'd say that fluency comes with understanding, instead of translation. Immersion, even if it's just for a couple of hours will help you with that. Watching tv shows and movies that you like makes the process less tedious. It'll also mean that you pick up English related to your interests, and hopefully, modern and up-to-date. *Listening is important, and your comprehesion of different accents and registers is one of the things that exams test. Read! whatever you like, but as broad as possible. Pick up online magazines, look for books that you want to read. It'll be tiresome and slow at first, but it pays off. The Guardian is a British newspaper that has an app for free - one of the very fews- it's good because it's proofread and nicely written. You can't get vices from reading the newspaper. (you'll do if you trusts the youtube commentaries' grammar and spelling). - Last, but not least! Don't forget grammar. there's a ton of places to look it up, you just need a google search.

How do you know that your level is B1(intermediate)? I don't believe the oxford online test works. I am working on improving my English. watching Helena Daily English videoes on youtube. and plan to do some exercise book on ebooks. I watched a lot of tv shows. better call Saul and breaking bad. strange things. The more I watched, the less new words I understand. because they don't explain the new words. I assume if I were determined, down to earth and perseverant. I would be better now.
