just curious to know the usage of "How Likely" is it an adv or adj in the question? And which one is correct or sound like more natural ? (I corrected with CAPS the ones that could be corrected easily) 1 how likely will you BE TO continue postING reviews in the future?-BEST 2 how likely are you TO... - YES with above changes 3 how likely you will... - NO 4 how likely is it that you will... - Yes, with the above changes. 1, 2, and 4 with the corrections are all correct ways of asking this question. I think the most natural for me would be, "How likely is it that you will continue posting (in the future)?" #4. I might also say, "How likely are you to continue posting (in the future)?" #2 I would probably not say, "in the future", because "continue to post" obviously goes into the future. As to your question about adverb and adjectives. An adverb modifies a verb and an adjective modifies a noun, so: 1 how likely WILL you be to continue posting reviews in the future?-Adverb- will 2 how likely are you to...? - Adverb- are 3 how likely you will... -Not correctly written, but would have been an adjective- you 4 how likely is it that you will...? - Adverb- is An example of an adjective would be: Tell me how likely you would be to... (you)

"Likely" tends to be used as an adjective in British English and an adverb in American English. 1 How likely will you continue to post reviews in the future? I wouldn't phrase it this way, but ( I think) that an AmE speaker might say this. 2 How likely are you to continue to post reviews in the future? It's fine. It's a little awkward, and reads like a survey question, but it's grammatically OK. 3 How likely you will... No. This is wrong. Nothing to do with 'likely' - it's simply not possible in terms of grammar. 4 How likely is it that you will continue to post reviews in the future? Fine. As for number 2. Do remember to use capital letters where necessary. Capitalisation is an essential part of the written language, not an optional nicety.

1 how likely will you continue to post reviews in the future? [ How likely is it, that you will continue to post reviews in the future? 2 how likely are you... [eg How likely are you to be at the party at the weekend?] 3 how likely you will... [ You have to use the verb to be in this sentance eg ' How likely IS IT that you will be here next week? 4 how likely is it that you will... [ See above - yes this is fine eg How likely is it that you will be playing for a UK team next season? ] Kind regards Ryder
