_?_
Subordinating conjunctions - Is "as much as" considered as one of them? My sentence: As much as students think they would get benefited by using mobiles in the class, they are not totally aware of how many disadvantages it brings. I want it to be a complex structured sentence. So if starting it with "as much as" doesn't make it a complex one, then what can I replace that with? Thank you.

1: I'm not aware what the definition of 'complex structured sentence' is. It is not a phrase we use. 2: My opinion is that if you want to use complex grammar structures, you have to make them absolutely correct. Perhaps there is something skewed in the system you are working within, but to me, a correct simple structure is much better than complex structure with errors. Perhaps the people that want these complex structures don't actually have the skills to recognise the errors in them? ;p 'get benefited by' is a strange collocation. Try 'would benefit from' or 'get benefits from'. What does the 'it' near the end refer to? You don't have a singular noun phrase that it can refer to.
