"More or less" is used when you are speaking imprecisely about something. For example, the circle is more or less symmetrical. "More or less" can also be used to describe something that is only occurring to a certain extent. For example, they are more or less willing to help.
To say something is "so so" is to say it is neither good nor bad. It is just average. For example, my dinner tonight was so so.

more or less means something like yeah that is pretty much it like if i explain something and you say is this what you mean and explain it back not exactly correct but pretty close i would say yeah that's it more or less
so so means ok not good not bad like how do you feel so so or how is the food just so so
