Es heißt prinzipiell an die Wand: etwas an die Wand schreiben oder an die Wand hängen.
Aber man kann etwas auf / an die Wand werfen. 'Auf' wird oefter in Oesterreich verwendet, 'an' oefter in Deutschland.
