sentence ending for more natural conversation I noticed that in colloquial/conversational setting, Koreans use different endings like 하거든요 or 없잖아요 or 뭐지. I want to use this but I'm not sure when I could appropriately use each. I always resort ro ..이에요 in both questions or declarative sentence. Please give some ways in which I could use these sentence endings. Thank you very much!

1. verb stem + 거든요 : It is usually used in speech not in a formal setting such as writing. You use this form when you think the listener does not know about the content or situation that you say. For example, if you think the listener does not know that you work part time these days you can say it like this. e.g. 제가 요즘 아르바이트를 하거든요. 저는 매운 음식을 좋아하거든요. (I like spicy food and you might not know this.) 2. verb stem + 잖아요 : It is used to check with or correct the listener on something about a certain situation. e.g. 내일 휴일이잖아요. (Tomorrow is a holiday.- Don't you remember? or I believe you know that as well.) 제가 요즘 한국어 배우잖아요. (I am learning Korean these days.) ( I told you. or As you know) 3. verb stem + 지요 : It is used to make sure or confirm about a certain thing or situation. You think the listener also know about it as well. e.g. 이번 여름에 한국에 가지요? (You are going to Korea this summer.) ( You told me that before. or I know that you are going to Korea this summer, right?)
