바로잡다, 검사하다, 정정하다, 바로잡다
I found four different definitions of “to correct” on Naver (바로잡다, 검사하다, 정정하다, 바로잡다), however I’m not sure if I can use them interchangeably or if they are used for different situations.
I am specifically curious about which one to use if I want to say “Correct me if I am wrong” (틀렸다면...)

수정하다 = to update, to edit, to revise, to modify
바로잡다 = to correct things that went wrong
정정하다 = to correct wrong statements
검사하다 = to inspect, to test, to verify

I would say 수정하다, 바로잡다, 정정하다 are similar, but 검사하다 is totally different.
