A bit more context would help here because this a reply to a previous statement. They are suggesting that whatever the other person just said about them is a trait that could have also be true about them as well.
It could be a good thing, or a bad thing. It's hard to tell without more context. I assume it's a good thing because of the use of the endearing term "my love", but it could be said in a condescending way and be a bad thing.
An example:
A: You were always great at making me feel better.
B: I've always felt the same applied to you, my love.
B thinks that A is also very good at making them feel better.

Break the sentence into 3 parts
1)I've always felt - He has felt this way forever
2) the same applied to you - Whatever they were talking about, the same idea on thing could be applied to the person he is talking to
3) my love - He is just finishing the statement with an affectionate name

The "the same applied to you" bit of this sentence seems a little strange. Can you provide a little more context for this sentence?
