- She's very old and tires easily. = tire (verb): to become tired. - To tire somebody: to make somebody feel very tired (or exhauseted). - You can also use 'tire out' (phrasal verb) = to tire yourself / somebody out: to make somebody / yourself very tired.

The verb for tired (exhausted) is "to tire" (or, "to tire out"), = make tired. Basically. But Richard brought up an excellent point with his last example: it is possible to take a noun (eg, tire/tyre, a car tire) and conjugate it as a verb, though as he said, this is not so common.

Yes! The baby tired the new mother out. (She was exhausted at her efforts caring for the baby.) This is the transitive form of the verb. After a few meals, I tired of the greasy food. (I lost interest in eating it.) This is the intransitive form. The mechanic tired the car. (He put tires on the car.) An uncommon transitive form.
