or is there nothing the exact word here?
Can you tell me a correct phrase?I meant a phrase when I put it on my nails.

Almost any clothing or jewelry is worn, as well as most decorative things. You wear nail polish just like you wear makeup, a necklace, a shirt, earrings, or shoes.
If you're talking about putting the nail polish on, though, you would say you are "painting your nails".

"Paint my nails"
"I'm letting my nails dry."
It's assumed in these sentences that you are referring to polish.
It's understood that "Paint my nails." = "Paint my nails with nail polish."
Of course, I suppose you could use latex paint, but it wouldn't look very good.
