Hello, The HSK Level I test contains 2 parts： Listening (20 questions, 15 mins, 100pts) Reading Comprehensive (20 questions, 15 mins, 100pts) 40 questions in total, takes about 40 mins(including 5 minutes to fill in your personal information and 5 minutes to remove your answers to the answer sheets). Full mark is 200 points, you have to get at least 100 points in order to pass the test. The 2 parts are all multiple choices, no writing is required except for your personal information. i.e. your name, gender and your nationality. You need to be able to recognize about 150 Chinese characters and know how to use them on daily grind. The questions are normally conversational level. And the questions are written with pinyin.
