Err... answering the question (sorry April, Jura's been on holidays. We missed her):
I think many western cultures don't like to recognise the animal when we eat its meat. ;) So if we want chicken feet here in Australia, we have to go to a specialised butcher, or to the Chinatown/Chinese areas of the city.
I find chicken feet a bit fatty, but at least they're small morsels.
