What's the difference among clean up, chean out and clean down?
I saw "clean up" and "clean down" when I looked them up in a dictionary. But I think the difference between them are very subtle,

"clean up" just means "clean".
"clean out" means:
1- Literally, to clean the inside of something (removing the dirty things "out" from it).
2- Figuratively, it can also mean to remove all things. "to clean out the store" means to buy everything in it, so nothing remains.
"Clean up your room" = clean your room
"Clean out your room" = remove all things from your room. (Figurative)
"Clean out the microwave" = clean the inside of the microwave (by "taking out" the dirty things! ) (Literal)
"I have no money left. He cleaned me out!" (Figurative, less common) = "He took all my money, I have nothing left"

What's the difference BETWEEN clean up, clean out, and clean down?
Never heard of the expression "clean out" or "clean down"
The expression "clean up" means to make something better essentially.
IE. Clean up your attitude means make your attitude better
Another example, Clean up your room means to make your room presentable and take things off the floor
I believe that's what your talking about, if it's something else just write back and I'll try again
