How can I find out the meaning of kanji by drawing it directly with the mouse?
I am reading a book (real book, no e-book) and I want to find out some kanji.
Is there a software out there that I can download, which lets me know what a certain kanji means, by inserting the strokes directly with the mouse into the screen?
(I have a wacom tablet.)
I don't mind if I have to pay. Should be downloadable in Germany. (I'd rather want to find freeware softwares though)
Or is there an online dictionary supporting strokes insertion?

I like to use this website
The more accurate the stroke order is the better it works.

Diese Seite hat ALLES.
If you want to learn the kanji the best method is:
Heisig. Remembering the Kanji.
Any electronic Japanese dictionary will give you the meaning of Kanjis. Most of them come with a writing pad as well. If cost is no problem I suggest you go out and buy one. They're not cheap.
As for stroke insertion on a PC, that stuff comes with Microsoft's IME. I still think you are better off using the web page above. You really should learn how Kanji are constructed.
